Composite Panel Inspection

Composite panels for aerospace applications must be inspected in order to find indications of porosities, delaminations, lack of bonding and other defects resulting from the manufacturing process.

Ultrasonic testing of such composite parts can be delivered in complete or partial immersion of the part, or using water jet probes (squirters). Through transmission, pulse-echo or a combination of the two ultrasonic testing methods can be used to provide the proper diagnostic or the part.

Furthermore, Phased Array ultrasound can also be implemented to reduce the inspection time.

3D contour following may be implemented to ensure accurate scanning of the most complex shapes.
